My life journey has included a wealth of interests, most of them involving language, music, or both. I've played the cello since I was ten but began to learn languages other than English only in high school. A love of language and story led to research, storytelling, and writing.
On this site I'll share some of what I've learned as a result of following these paths:
- Most recently, a journey to modern day Greece to investigate a fascination with the Oracle of Delphi and mysteries that remain.
- Travel in Iran and and a growing acquaintance with Persian culture in Canada.
- Music improvisation and the joys of music from around the globe.
- Storytelling performance.
- Walking and playing music for the labyrinth — an ancient path of reflection, healing, and celebration.
- A journey to Nunavut spending a month with elders as they told the ancient epic Kiviuq.
May you enjoy the journey with me!
